Tara Coluccio is the Operations & Communications Manager for United Catcher Boats, where she oversees internal operations, accounting, and strategic communications. She leads UCB’s website, social media, and outreach efforts, sharing the stories of the fleet and highlighting the sustainability, innovation, and community impact of catcher vessel fisheries. Prior to joining UCB, she worked at the International Pacific Halibut Commission, supporting personnel services and communications efforts — an experience that served as her introduction to the fisheries world and sparked her interest in the industry’s people, science, and policy. 

With a Bachelor's Degree in Public Relations and background in organizational management, she brings a fresh perspective to the fishing industry, paired with a strong commitment to science-based management and responsible stewardship. Originally from the Pacific Northwest, Tara enjoys cooking, exploring new places, spending time with her dog, and finding any excuse to be near the water.
