GOVERNMENT AFFAIRS & POLICY

At United Catcher Boats, we advocate for policies that sustain our fisheries, strengthen coastal communities, and ensure all Americans have access to healthy, domestic seafood. Our work spans from Washington, D.C., where we engage on national priorities, to the North Pacific Fishery Management Council, where we advance science-based solutions. We also stay active at the regional and state levels to ensure the voices of fishermen and working waterfronts are heard wherever decisions are made.

ENGAGING DIRECTLY IN FISHERIES MANAGEMENT

UCB actively participates in the North Pacific Fishery Management Council process, bringing science-driven solutions on gear innovation, bycatch reduction, and sustainable harvest policies.
